If your expect Godzilla to be like Pacific Rim then you're in for a big disappointment.
Godzilla is about the build-up, the calm before the storm. Always has always been.
Believe this is a very good re-boot, it definitely stayed true to the very root and then some.
I honestly liked the Man of Steel in 3D, it's a very good film to re-introduce Clark Kent.. how his true and foster parents morals influenced him in his childhood, his first meeting with Lois Lane and all.
Do believe it's only some ideas ( design/atmosphere in an aesthetic point of view ) from his planet Krypton that I think was a bit not very well fleshed-out.
Will be waiting for this one for sure.
Good to see Rise of the Guardians in there, absolutely stunning in 3D. Epic and Despicable Me 2 I thought also maximized the use of 3D-tech.
Just want to let you all know for the WORST use of this tech - ( **Amphibious 3D ).. bought it because it had Brian Yuzna of From Beyond, Re-Animator etc., honestly the film was terrible but the 3D looked really really wrong like it was inverted or something. Avoid this film.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is definitely one of Ben Stiller's best and most memorable work.
Do think it depends if a very good and funny script for another Zoolander shows up somehow, I think Mr. Stiller would have to agree.
Kingpin, Zoolander, There's Something About Mary, The Hot Chick..
Liked the movie, but also agree it left me wanting.
They really need to progress the story and stop repeating from the very beginning every time and having different takes on how Peter's uncle passing changed his outlook on becoming spidey.
Very good film, it holds true to the essence of the very original Godzilla film and betters that with great visuals, effects and drama with a very good line-up of actors/acting.
If you're into Godzilla, it's all about the story build-up., newbies also expect this to have tons of other monsters but that's not what Godzilla is all about.
I also think it could be because of "that" other Godzilla film from *2009 ( Matthew Broderick, Jean Ren...
Just NO.
Blade Runner was already perfection on it's own.
Perfect story, atmosphere, Vangelis soundtrack, comic book adaptation, U.S and International cut, Director's cut, Final cut.
Tiny Toons was just excruciatingly horrible.
..Or Marvel could make the Defenders into reality since The Incredible Hulk and The Silver Surfer are already developed characters on the screen.
They only need to bring Doctor Strange and Prince Namor - The Submariner into the fold with brand spanking new scripts/movies for each of these characters..
Then mix it with Fantastic Four.
It's a blockbuster movie but also has great script/story telling.
Definitely worth watching.
As with all Marvel films don't get out of the moviehouse until the very last credits has rolled unless you want to miss out on the teaser footage for the next film.
They could take some cues off this Audi LMP1 racecar ( http://www.netcarshow.com/a... ) for the next batmobile.
American Mary was really good.
Curse of Chucky was really terrible, worst of the entire series I believe.
Byzantium wasn't on the lists'. I highly recommend it. Worth a watch.
This reminds me of Ghost in the Machine and The LawnmowerMan movies.
Video link looks great!!
I love it that they kept original Godzilla's trademark look and especially that sound.. Wow!, brings me back to my childhood.
Godzilla was the very first movie I have ever seen, remember bugging my mom just to see it.
Prince Namor, The Submariner.
Most likely a nightmare to do with all the CGI-water involved.
I rate this a perfect 10.
Simply great cinema. The film makers maximized and effectively used 3D-tech. Will be relevant for a long, long number of years.
Ending is simple and righteously how it should be.
Pacific Rim was incredible, especially in 3D.
Watched it again on 3D Blu Ray and it's still that good, a few cliches and some funny sequences but overall the mech( Jaegers)/monsters(Kaijus) CGI design and effects along with camera angles were all tops!
Godzilla has a lot of goals and standards to live up to.
Buffy/Angel/Firefly had wit and humor. And so does the Avengers movie.
The series has improved slightly but do think the main characters still needs work to connect with each other.
I see no rapport in there, maybe one or two do have in a couple of scenes but not all of them are in the same wavelength especially when they are all together.
Bruce Campbell and Maise Williams.
Would have to comment appropriately cast at present.
Seems a bit out of left field, can't really tell unless we see what the trailer would look and feel like.
